Why do foreigners like to play with girls so much?

There is a couple things wrong with your question. First off, Many Chinese boys also play with girls so a better question would be why do guys like to play with girls. Secondly, the foreigners you meet are not the typical foreigners. For this answer we’ll deal with the second part as the first part is a whole different question.

There’s a pretty big idea in China that guys outside of China just like to play and have fun with girls while not being serious. This is completely untrue. Foreigner guys are no more likely to play with girls than Chinese guys.

However in China I can certainly understand why so many Chinese believe foreigners are bad at relationships, but you have to keep in mind two things.

1) You only see a very small portion of foreingers and they are not the regular ones. You have to understand that most foreigners in the West don’t go off and live in other countries for months at a time. Travel to most foriegners is going on a two week trip to somewhere beautiful. So the foreingers who are living in China are not the typical foreigners, most people who travel a lot and spend long periods of time away from home are fairly liberal in their mindset, not all but most. Liberal minded people are more likely to be people who are more easy going with a relationship becuase they probably don’t believe sex is only for marriage and they are generally more open to new ideas and ways of life. If you went to Canada you’d find most Canadians are serious about relationships, don’t cheat or play with girls and get married and live a regular married life without any mistresses.

2) Many foreigners in China are here on holidays. If you went to the USA for six months on holiday and met a wonderful nice guy, are you going to marry him and bring him home after knowing him for less than six months? Probably not. Foreigners who are in China for six months to a year studying are generally not going to be so serious about relationships. If you date a foreigner who you know is going to be going home soon you need to be honest with yourself about what you are doing. I know many people who just want a short term relationship and to enjoy their life now, and that’s fine, as long as both people are honest about it and just enjoy their time.

So yes, some foreigners play with girls, and some Chinese play with girls. Girls in general need to stop being naive, if a guy says he loves you after two weeks of dating, he’s probably lying and just wants to get you into bed. If you want a short term, easy going relationship than have one but if what you want is a serious relationship with marriage being the goal, think rationally about who you are dating, six month students who will leave the country afterwards probably aren’t the best choice for a long term relationship.
