In this week’s Quirky Question I asked “What would you do if you were given, today, 10 Million RMB?”, below I’m going to put the answers for everyone to read. The real purpose of this is to get you guys some writing practice so please do take part if you want some free writing correction!

English Correction:

well, I have to say, 10million RMB is not that much money to live on in Beijing. As for myself, I would give my family 1 million, and then move to a place which is close to nature. Maybe somewhere by the sea, as the saying goes “facing the sea, spring blossoms”. Or maybe live on a farm, but i don’t think 9 million is enough for a farm.
If it’s not enough to move to a place like that, then to be realistic, I will keep the money and travel widely.

I say:

If I was given 10 Million RMB I would invest a million into starting up my own training school where I could focus on actually teaching instead of just money like so many training centers I see around me all the time, I’d put 5 Million in a bank account with a high interest rate so I could just live off that money for the rest of my life and the rest of the 3 million I’d probably put it aside for future trips all around the world whenever I had free time. Sadly I don’t have 10 Million so instead I’ll stay at my desk working and playing games.
