As an English teacher in China for 8 years, Ethan has always been frustrated by the complaints from students that they have no help in learning English. This site is his attempt to solve that problem.





Language Learning
There are many theories and ideas on what is best for learning a new language. Here we'll look at some of those ideas plus other things related to the culture of learning a new language.

Most students just learn vocabulary and grammar and expect to be fluent in the language, but I think we can all agree this just isn't possible. To become fluent you need to study the culture, the style and the history to fully understand the language.
